DoggyBiome Gut Restore Supplement is a unique fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) in a capsule designed to restore dog health. More powerful than probiotics and prescription diets because dog-specific microbes increase the success of seeding the gut to a more balanced state.

Addresses chronic digestive issues and skin conditions in dogs, including diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, itchy skin, and atopic dermatitis.

Helpful Supplement for Dog Digestive and Skin Issues:

      • Supports solid poop
      • Fast-acting and gentle
      • Restores digestive and immune health
      • Soothes the intestinal tract
      • Improved clinical signs in 80% of dogs
      • Promotes healthy skin and coat
      • Veterinarian recommended

Though surgical fecal transplants have been shown to help with multiple health conditions, in both humans and pets, there are some risks with this method.

If the donor stool is not properly screened, there’s a chance that pathogens and/or parasites could be passed on to your cat or dog. If you choose to have a fecal transplant procedure performed by a veterinarian, it’s important to ask about their screening process for the donated fecal material.

Surgical FMT procedures (colonoscopy, enema, and endoscopy) generally require sedation, which has its own risks and complications.

Product Overview

Where do you get the material for Gut Restore Supplements?

Our Gut Restore Supplements for cats and dogs are made from stool harvested from donor pets who have been carefully screened for health, age, fecal consistency, behavior, and microbiome composition (based on DNA testing).

Standard veterinary tests are performed to confirm that the donated fecal material contains no parasites or ova (parasite eggs). Donor stool samples are also submitted for pathogen screening (both DNA testing and culturing) to the Idexx Reference Laboratories, which has more than 15 years of genetic testing experience, stringent quality control guidelines, and well-validated standard operating procedures.

We maintain the world’s largest stool bank for cats and dogs, and we lead the way in best practices for FMT donor material, including rigorous screening of donor feces for pathogens and parasites, as well as screening of the donors themselves for health, medication history, and microbiome composition. Our proprietary process delivers viable bacterial cells in capsules that are stable at room temperature, offering a convenient and safe approach to fecal transplantation.
