Product Overview How it Works What's Inside Reviews

The DoggyBiome™ Oral Health System includes:

  • Two Oral Health Tests (test before and after using TEEF!)
  • A 30-day supply of TEEF! (regularly $28)

AnimalBiome's Oral Health Test is an easy, at-home test that analyzes the bacteria in your dog's mouth and helps you evaluate the effectiveness of an oral health intervention, such as tooth brushing, oral prebiotics, or dental cleanings.

  • Provides a report to help you understand the current status of your dog's oral microbiome.
  • Allows you to compare your dog’s oral bacterial community before and after using TEEF!
  • Tells you whether your current oral health regimen is working or an appointment with your veterinarian is recommended.
  • Science-backed by AnimalBiome, a leader in microbiome research for pet health.

Primal Health’s TEEF! Drinkable Prebiotic is an award-winning, veterinarian-approved daily dental care regimen. It is a human-grade prebiotic powder you add to your dog’s drinking water.

  • Targets the root cause of gum disease—the overgrowth of inflammation-causing bacteria.
  • Enhances beneficial bacteria using a prebiotic formula, Protektin42, that packs a quadruple-action punch to the bacteria in the mouth to balance the oral microbiome. The four key components are soluble fiber, vitamin B6, sodium bicarbonate, and amino acids.
  • Promotes strong teeth, healthy gums, and fresh breath.
  • Easy to use, safe, and nontoxic; no artificial flavors, colors, fillers, or preservatives; tasteless and odorless.

Learn More About Gum Disease in Dogs

Test #1 (before): Before starting TEEF!, use one of the swabs provided in the kit to swab the outside of your dog’s gumline on the top and bottom of your dog's mouth. Break off the swab in the “before” tube, and keep that tube in a safe place.

Add TEEF! to your dog’s drinking water: one scoop of TEEF! for every quart of water. Use TEEF! for at least 14 days.

Test #2 (after): Collect another sample after at least 14 days of using TEEF! Swab your dog’s gumline as before, and break off the swab in the “after” tube.

Send both (“before” and “after”) sample tubes to AnimalBiome using the pre-addressed mailer (prepaid shipping included within the US).

You will receive a report in about 4 weeks.

The Oral Health System kit contains everything you need, including step-by-step instructions.

Overabundance of Brevundimonas in our pup that has Oral Melanoma

While many groups of bacteria associated with Periodontal Disease were present in low amounts, one was elevated: Brevundimonas, a group which has been associated with more refractory cases of Periodontal Disease in humans In addition, two groups of bacteria considered pathobionts were elevated: Acinetobacter and Proteus, both of which are problematic groups. Overabundance of Brevundimonas One of several species of microorganisms which have been identified as having a natural melanogenic capacity (complex process by which the pigment melanin is produced in melanosomes by melanocytes). Is an overabundance of Brevundimonas a biomarker for Melanoma?

Dog Breath

TEEF appears to have helped my 7yo poodle mix’s breath. I also started her on a new probiotic when I started TEEF and feel both may have helped her breath. However, I was hoping this product would help with slowing the development of my dogs plaque and tartar. I use to be able to brush their teeth when they were younger but now as older dogs it’s become more challenging to brush regularly. I’m going to have them brush their own teeth. I bought dog toothbrushes (they look like a chew toy). It has areas where you add toothpaste and they’ll get to it once they chew down on the built-in bristles. Need to find a toothpaste they like now…I’ll see if this helps remove their plaque and tartar.

I have not done the oral health test but will be submitting their gut health test soon.

Just a dab will do!

I have 3 chihuahuas that are seniors. I really think that Teef has been helpful with their breath. It’s easy to do and they don’t even know it’s in their water! I had already started using before this offer came and was happy to find it at one of my favorite sites.
